VaPrevent Q8 24-Hour Kit

The VaPrevent Q8 24-Hour Kit provides oral hygiene for 24 hours, to help prevent the development of hospital-acquired pneumonia (HAP) amongst patients on ventilators in intensive care units (ICUs). Per industry guidelines, our solution facilitates the performance of oral care every four to eight hours, towards reducing HAP-related risk factors. Our optimised kit further enhances efficiency in the ICU by including the following high-quality components needed for an oral care procedure every eight hours (three per day): 2 Toothbrush trays outfitted with: o 1 Suction toothbrush o 1 Suction swab o 2 DenTips® Oral Swabs o 1 Moisturiser 1 Swab tray comprising: o 1 Suction swab o 2 DenTips o 1 Moisturiser For convenient removal of secretions, the suction swab and Medline suction toothbrush are designed with an angled head. And to soothe oral tissues, DenTips and the moisturising gel will allow for smooth application. The VaPrevent Q8 24-hour Kit dispenses products one at a time, in the correct order, to help drive compliance, thanks to its colour-coded trays. To reduce waste, these rigid trays also have an integrated cup to manage liquids or pastes and rinse reservoirs while helping to standardise doses of mouth rinse. By way of its smart design, three positions are available for convenient storage. You can hang the VaPrevent Q8 24-hour Kit on the wall, on the ventilator, or place it on the patient’s bedside table.
