Steriset® Three-Quarter-Size Condensation Drain with Aluminium Lid

The Steriset® Three-Quarter-Size Condensation Drain Container with Aluminium Lid protects the integrity of the sterilisation of surgical instruments. Dust, excess moisture and other contaminants are kept out, for improved hygiene. Sterility is upheld by way of several key features, including: Aluminium double-lid protection: Keeps out dust, excess moisture and other contaminants for added hygiene and is ideal for lightweight components Stainless-steel valve: This valve is pressure-activated to open automatically during the steam pre-vacuum sterilisation cycle. It remains closed after sterilisation, creating an impermeable barrier that keeps contents sterile; eliminates the use of disposable paper filters Tamper-evident security: Having the heat-activated Thermo-Loc® Intelligent Locking System, the lid can be locked in place during the sterilisation cycle. This ensures the container remains sealed until healthcare staff open it in the operating theatre and is tamper-evident; plastic locks are not required Condensation drain (for sets over 8 kg), ideal for facilities with wet steam conditions. The drain opens when the steriliser reaches 130° C, allowing for any remaining condensation to flow out of the container. When the steriliser cools below 110° C, the drain closes, ensuring a dry, fully-protected instrument load. The sterilisation product range features additional accessories that may be combined with the container, including colour-coded handles and labels to simplify case picking.
