PTFE-Coated Insulated Blade Electrode
The PTFE-Coated Insulated Blade Electrode offers a sterile solution designed to fit most electrosurgical pencils, thanks to their standard 2.4-mm shaft, and is made with the same non-stick compound found in Teflon®. To help ease the removal of build-up that occurs on the electrode during a procedure, the coating allows the single-use electrode to be cleaned with a wet piece of gauze or sponge, as opposed to with an abrasive scratch pad. In addition, for improved safety while in use, our non-stick electrode has round edges, which prevent the radio frequency (RF) current from concentrating too much energy in one area. In addition, for easy tip changes, even under wet conditions, our electrode has extended ribbed insulation. Our PTFE-Coated Blade Electrode is available in two sizes: 7 cm and 10 cm. The PTFE-Coated Insulated Blade Electrode is part of The electrosurgery portfolio, which also includes different types of electrosurgical pencils, amongst other accessories.
