Oxygen Catheters

The Nasal Oxygen Catheter is specifically designed for use in the ICU department to provide supplemental oxygen flow or increased oxygen flow to patients requiring respiratory assistance. It is particularly recommended when a mask is considered too intrusive. The distal end of the nasal catheter is open and features a PVC straight conical connector, which should be connected to an oxygen source with a recommended low flow rate of ≤ 6 l/min. This catheter is 40 cm long and made of PVC. To ensure comfortable placement in the patient's nostril, the proximal end of the Nasal Oxygen Catheter features a polyether foam piece. This catheter is available in several diameters, allowing for customisation to meet the individual needs of patients requiring oxygen therapy.
