The Bordered Gauze Adhesive Island Dressing is ideal for the treatment of incision sites, pressure injuries and full-thickness wounds. Bordered Gauze is an adhesive island medical wound dressing featuring: Secure fixation Conformability Comfort Good absorption. The sterile Bordered Gauze offers longer wear time (up to seven days) and less-frequent dressing changes, as a result of its protective, water-resistant backing that beads water. Additionally, it promotes healing and prevents further harm through maceration, thanks to the non-adherent deluxe soaker pad. Wound healing will not be disturbed upon pad removal. Finally, the border is made of a non-woven adhesive material, which keeps the gauze in place during wear.
